Wedding cakes are custom-designed
to order, with my creative input. The list of cake bases,
fillings, and frostings
below are a representative sampling from which to choose.
However, if you would
like something that you do not see, don't hesitate to ask
and I will be happy
to accommodate you whenever possible. I will also
prepare special "family"
or "heirloom" recipes upon request.
"Exterior Finish" (below)
refers to how the outside of the cake is decorated.
Buttercream, White or
Dark Chocolate Ganache, and Cream Cheese frosted cakes
may be finished with
a basketweave or assortment of other piped designs.
Rolled fondant, and
white or dark modeling chocolate (both enrobe buttercream-frosted cakes),
are available for a
perfectly smooth, sculptural exterior finish.
Cake bases, fillings
and frostings may be modified to taste or enhanced
with white or dark chocolate,
fruit purees, seeds, nuts, liqueurs or other flavorings.
Wedding cakes are priced
per serving. Cost is based on choice of ingredients, size, and extent and
style of decoration.
•Wedding cake prices start at $7.00 per person.
•Rolled fondant and modeling
chocolate-enrobed cakes start at $8.00 per person.
•Organic, vegan and gluten-free cakes are also available starting at $7.50 per person.
•Delivery/set-up fee (which inclues decoration of the cake/dessert table) is $40 & up depending upon
mileage and time required for set-up and retrieval of equipment.
•Specialty items such as mad hatter cakes, scuplted cakes, and
croquembouche (tower of cream puffs) start at $9.00 per person.
